The day has finally come... I'm sharing the details of my own wedding!

My husband Kyle and I just celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary this past Tuesday and I've had so much fun reminiscing on the photos and memories as I put this blog post together to share with you all.

There were so many special moments the week of our wedding and it will always hold a special place in my heart. My husband and I celebrated our families becoming one on Father's Day weekend of 2018. You'll notice a lot of personal touches in the details pictured below; from bouquet charms, to custom handkerchiefs, to vintage cars and fun signature drink names! My brother actually rented our old childhood home in Sonoma for the immediate family and wedding party where we hosted an amazing rehearsal dinner, swam in the pool and BBQ'd, got ready the morning of the wedding and did our "first look" and formal family photos out by the pond. My family lived there for over 17 years, so it was a beautiful way to make our final memories at the house together.

We got married at Depot Park in downtown Sonoma, an area where I grew up going with friends and family. We kept our wedding very small and intimate, only inviting friends and family who have highly impacted our lives for the better. My father, Allan Stovall, had passed away just a year prior to our wedding and was unable to walk me down the aisle. However, my brother proudly drove me to ceremony in our dads old '57 Chevrolet Bel Air and then led me down the aisle to my husband. Our nephew, Alden, was the ring bearer and did a great job stealing the show! We had a small wedding party. My two best girlfriends Nicole and Kemplen were right by my side, and my husband had his best friend Eric and my brother Mike by his side. The ceremony was super emotional and one of the best few minutes of my life. I just remember feeling so present, happy, and excited; like nothing else mattered in that moment. Also, my husband had everyone bawling with his incredible vows ~ we actually said similar lines in our vows, too, which brought some good laughs!

After the ceremony, everyone walked over to the Maysonnave House, which is a historical venue right next to the park. We hosted more of a "cocktail party" style reception with a live band, self serve food stations, wine, beer and a few signature cocktails. OH.. And of course an ice cream cart from our favorite ice cream spot in town, Sweet Scoops! Lots of laughter, happy tears, dancing and hugging happened that night. With under 100 people in attendance, we felt like we were really able to properly greet everyone and have meaningful conversations. My parents longtime friend Golly surprised me by adding custom wine labels on the wine, with photos of my dad and sweet sayings printed on them which you'll see pictured below. The wine was bottled from our old vineyards which my dad made himself that had just been sitting in barrels, so that made it even more special. Our guests signed a few of the larger bottles which we still have displayed in our home to this day! The messages written are a great reminder of the love and support we are surrounded by.

There are so many small but powerful moments we will never forget about that week, but in summary the one word that encompasses it all is THANKFUL. Thankful for our family and friends, thankful to the vendors who worked so hard to make it perfect, and thankful for each other.

Cheers to my husband, my soulmate, my best friend! This world is a better place because you are in it, and I'm one lucky girl because I get to be your wife.
