Barbara Jean Hodgkinson, Wedding Coordinator & Assistant

Tell us about yourself! What is your personal background like?

Born and raised in Sonoma CA, I am an only child raised by a single mother. I am engaged to my fiancé, Jordan and we plan to get married in my hometown, this October!

Describe yourself in 3-5 words:

Everybody’s friend and hard worker.

Who is someone you admire, and why?

My mother, she is a constant support system for me and everyone she comes in contact with. She is a pillar in her community and keeps a full time job on top of all the support she gives.

Tell us about your professional background:

I have been in the event industry on and off for the last 6 years. I started with another planning firm and then applied for an internship with Save the Date. Worked my way up into an assistant position and now work as wedding coordinator!

Where did you go to school?

I graduated from Sonoma Valley High School and Santa Rosa Junior College. I also have a floral degree!

What is your favorite part about what you do with Save the Date?

Being that helping hand in making a couples special day go smooth, and having them experience easy planning.

What is your favorite part of any wedding day?

The first time the groom sees the bride walking down the aisle towards him.
